Cold Pressed Neem seed oil
 
Fruit from the Neem tree (or Margosa Tree) contains kernels (seeds) which are rich in oil (40%). From these seeds a unique, cold pressed oil is expelled which contains natural constituents which have specific benefits for skin care. Scientific research has confirmed that Neem seed oil is non-toxic to mammals, and may be a very effective organic antiseptic, antifungal, antibacterial, antiviral, dermatological, and dental agent. Neem Oil is also widely hailed as a natural insect repellent.

Neem seed oil has been used for centuries in traditional Indian medicine to aid in the healing of topical skin disorders such as eczema, psoriasis, rashes, burns, and acne.
Neem oil has a strong smell and can be diliuted in a carrier oil (e.g. Sweet Almond, or Olive) for personal use.
 
A customer has emailed us the following information about Neem oil and scabies
"I have been suffering from a bad case of scabies for the past 9 months, and found that the mites are not completely banished by the usual medicines, which are free radical generators, neurotransmitter toxins, or protein aggregants. I read in the medical literature (pubmed) papers referring to the increasing tolerance of scabies to the usual miticides. Neem oil was mentioned as a very effective treatment in shampoo form for treating dog mange (scabies is people mange). Also, Ayervedic references on the web have talked about neem LEAF oil (not seed oil) and tumeric root being a traditional treatment for scabies.
 After 7 days of keeping the Kereru neem oil on my skin (diluted ~ 1:3 with grapeseed oil), I have a greatly reduced biting count, and am seeing little black threads (presumably uncurled younger stages of the mites)lying on my skin. 
PLEASE, for all those suffering from scabies at length, who have been struggling with the standard treatments dished out by GPs and specialists, add this to your list of neem oil applications. It is much more pleasent to use than the others, and I have been safely applying it to my face and scalp as well (where general medical belief is that you don't get them...Note that I am also applying malathion at intervals, as the neem oil seems to work on the youngest stage most effectively.
